The Triad FreeZone freeze dry system is a perfect system to preserve biological samples, prepare tissue samples for electron microscopy examination, and concentrate samples for chemical analysis. Preserve your samples with this versatile, space-saving, stoppering tray dryer and lyophilizer. This unit combines a stoppering tray dryer and freeze dryer into one system. The microprocessor controls permit storage of up to five different temperature programs, each using a timed pre-freezing segment plus as many as five ramping and holding segments. The dryer incorporates a cascade refrigeration system, capable of cooling the collector coil to –85°C (–122°F). The unit is constructed with brushed stainless and epoxy-coated steel exterior, and a 1″-thick acrylic door. Processing shelf can accommodate containers with stoppers up to a maximum height of 513⁄16″ (148 mm). A vacuum pump is required with a minimum displacement of 98 liters/min with 0.002 mBar ultimate pressure.
