Confocal Raman microscopy (CRM) is an improved system in view of Raman spectroscopy, providing information about depth and buried structures of thin samples. This microscope gives the highest spatial resolution, as well as allowing the acquisition of depth profiles in three-dimensional thin structures.
The Bruker SENTERRA confocal Raman microscope is designed for straightforward, non-stop operation. Its high degree of automation allows fast and easy Raman imaging for failure analysis, quality control and scientific research. Most commercial Raman microscopes employ spectrographs separate from the microscope, therefore, alignment and maintenance of these devices is time consuming. SENTERRA, however, integrates a multi-laser Raman spectrometer onto the confocal optical microscope. The spectrometer part is integrated in between the base and the binocular of the microscope. Through its compact design, the beam path is kept very short, achieving high stability and system sensitivity.
This instrument comes complete and ready to work in your lab. This unit is the earlier Bruker version but has seen very little use over its lifetime. It is priced at a fraction of the cost of a new system.
This unit comes complete with Class I laser shield, microscope, optics, joystick driven stage, arc lamp power supply; Bruker accessories, computer hardware and OPUS software.
